Editorial policy
A number lands on a page only when I can point at a public page. One source stays labelled as one source.
What I will write
- A car name, a key, a date, or a player cap, with the public page it came from.
- A status cell such as “3 sources” or “1 source”; files, screenshots, listings and posts controlled by the same developer count as one source.
- Both numbers when two pages disagree, instead of an average.
- A blank when the public file has no power, weight, or price.
What I will not write
- A version number that no changelog states.
- A fastest car, a frame rate, or a “realistic physics” line.
- A console release date inferred from a search that returned nothing.
- A mirror, an installer, or a way around a school network.
Each page ends with one note in the first person: what I decided to keep, and a single Limitation sentence. Sources sit under that note with the check date. The date in the footer and the date in the sitemap are the same field.

Corrections and independence
Email [email protected] with the page and the public source. I change the sentence and the check date together. The guide is not affiliated with Luke Baffait, Victor Boutros, or DirtBound Offroad. Screenshots are used so a reader can see the menu the sentence describes. The about page names the same rules in shorter form.
Questions
Does Dirtbound have redeem codes?
The public menu does not document a redeem-code system. This guide therefore has no codes page; multiplayer room codes are a different feature.
Sources
Last checked 2026-11-03. I compared the public materials linked below. Official pages, source files, screenshots and the developer’s itch.io listing count as one publisher; a second independent publisher is named separately where available.
