The official release is a free browser game with no installer. Its HTML5 listing is the documented way to play.

Why there is no download
The official description says “free rally game in your browser, no download.” The itch.io platform field is HTML5. The game is built with WebGL. I did not find a Windows installer, a Mac app, or a console SKU, so the word “download” on this page means the expectation people bring, not a file I can hand you.
Phone
Use the same dirtbound.fr address. Hold a finger and slide to steer. The car accelerates on its own. HeapPlay’s 17 Oct 2026 check used a 390 by 844 phone-sized window, which is an emulated screen, not a handset I held. Turn the phone sideways if the road feels narrow. I am not publishing a frame-rate claim.
What the public build asks of the machine
There is no official minimum specification. The official settings offer Low, Normal, and Ultra (1 source). Low drops trees, rocks, camps, shadows, smoke, and resolution. Ultra is described as needing a stronger graphics chip. A modern browser with WebGL and hardware acceleration is the requirement I can actually point at. School and office networks can block the site. That is a network rule, and this guide does not describe a way around it.

Questions
Is there a Dirtbound APK?
I found no official Android or iOS app. The itch.io page lists HTML5 only. I will not link a third-party APK.
Can I play offline?
The official pages do not document an offline mode. A missing manifest or one service-worker URL cannot establish whether every browser cache works offline.
Is Dustbound the same game?
No. Dustbound on Steam is a deck-building roguelite by Nordman. DirtBound is the free browser rally game.
