Open daily →DirtBound is a low-poly 3D rally game that runs in the browser. Luke Baffait is credited for art direction, interface, 3D, and development. Victor Boutros is credited for the server, infrastructure, and development. A developer post on the Three.js forum on 17 Oct 2026 said the game was playable that day. The itch.io page went up on 29 Oct 2026 and is marked In development.
The public description is a free rally game with generated stages, a circuit editor, leaderboards, and multiplayer. I treat the visit counts and store ratings as small samples: HeapPlay showed 4.4 from 8 ratings, and itch.io showed 5.0 from 1 rating. I do not turn those into a score of my own.

Resetting back onto a stage adds 5 seconds. Hitting a spectator adds 10 seconds. Those two penalties are in the public game build and HeapPlay also recorded the 5-second off-track reset. Seasons change the look only. The public season note says the road and the times stay the same.

The playable build is the official game site (dirtbound.fr). The itch.io page links to that same build. I do not embed the game here: the site sends a frame policy that allows only its own pages, and the itch HTML build is a short redirect to dirtbound.fr. The Discord invite in the client is discord.gg/EcZGQNm6v2. The public invite is a community link, not a live player-count feed.
Yes. Open dirtbound.fr in a browser. The public game page and the itch.io listing both describe it as free, with no download.
Solo stages do not ask you to sign in. The public interface says leaderboards, multiplayer, and publishing a track need a Google sign-in and a username of 2 to 20 characters.
The official itch.io listing documents HTML5. Steam and Xbox searches found no listing on 3 Nov 2026; PlayStation and Nintendo search pages were inconclusive. Dustbound on Steam is a different game.
The public car list names 17 rally cars, each with 5 liveries. A Pick-up Kenney easter egg has 4 colours and is not in the garage.
No. DirtBound Offroad sells Jeep and truck parts. This page is about the browser rally game at dirtbound.fr.
Last checked 2026-11-03. I compared the public materials linked below. Official pages, source files, screenshots and the developer’s itch.io listing count as one publisher; a second independent publisher is named separately where available.
